We made our way to the River Walk. We walked around and eventually got on a boat to see the sights. It was a very nice ride down the river. After that we ate at the oldest restaurant on the river, Casa Rio. Mom and I shared a chicken quesadilla. The chips and salsa were very good and the quesadilla wasn’t bad.
The Alamo, the River Walk & the Missions

Our day trip to San Antonio started at Bu-cee’s. It is a Texas tradition. We went straight to the Alamo. Since Mom and Nancy had already been there, only Denise, Greg and I went in. It was smaller than I expected but still cool.

Before we headed back to the Austin, I asked to go see the San Antonio Missions National Historical Place. We got to see one of the Old Catholic missions. A very interesting place but the church was closed for a wedding. :(
