Juliette & Daniel Welter

Eric and I traveled to Phoenix on Thursday night for Juliette's wedding. It was a quick trip and I had to work for most of it...damn year end work. :( On Friday I attended the Bridal Tea at Juliette's apartment. I got to meet Hiram's mom and some of the bridesmaids and our great niece Vesper. It was nice to finally meet her. She is cute but very quiet.

During the tea, Eric picked up Chris and Banyan from the airport. The eventually found there way to Juliette's apartment to pick me up. We had lunch at Boston Market. We used to have Boston Markets in the Twin Cities but they all closed about 3 years ago. It made me very sad when they closed so I try to visit whenever we are near one.

Saturday morning we picked up Phil at the airport and met up with my friend Mary Linda who recently moved to Phoenix. We had an awesome lunch!  After lunch we got ready for the wedding.

The wedding was at the Desert Botanical Gardens. It was beautiful backdrop for the outdoor wedding. The wedding was nice.

After the ceremony, Eric and I had to take Ronald, the ringbearer dog to the Doggie Spa. Unfortunately the ceremony went longer that expected and we didn't make it to the doggie spa on time. We were 2 minutes late and they wouldn't answer the door or phone. I started to panic because I didn't know what to do with the Ronald. He couldn't come back to our Airbnb and we didn't have keys to Juliette's apartment. So I called up Mary Linda and asked if she wanted to dog sit for the evening. She said absolutely and thankfully the Doggie spa was only 10 minutes from her house.
We got back to the wedding in time for dinner....we missed chips and salsa though. The food was delicious and after that was some dancing. It was all wrapped up by 10pm.

It was a fun night.
