Canterbury Fireworks

We found a great spot to watch Canterbury's fireworks. Unfortunately there will be a house here next year so I need to find a new secret spot. Too bad I can't afford the new house being built here. :(

Independence Day Half Marathon - Bristol, Rhode Island

State #37

I was fortunate to start 1 hour before everyone else. Being a slow, fat runner sometimes works in my advantage. I was able to “beat” Eric to the finished line.

The course was hiller than I expected, especially after mile 8…last 5 miles were brutal.

The rain held off and it didn’t get too hot, but it was very, very humid.

Bristol is a fun town with red, white and blue lines down the middle of the streets. And all the house were decked out for the 4th of July! A very cool experience!

Some of the family came up to watch the Twins get destroyed by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday for Prince Night. The final score was 16-4. Ouch.

Yesterday I went to see the Twins get destroyed by the Texas Rangers, again with a score 16-3. This time it was my work. But Michael and Tori were also there. Eventually they came to my section to hang out.
