I didn't train well for this race. I did a fast 8 mile walk a couple weeks ago and that was about it. Even though my training was terrible, I actually felt better after this race then the last one in Montana where I trained really well. So there is that. It was mostly flat but had some nasty up hills at mile 3 and 8.5. It got very warm too but I handled it so much better than Montana. Overall and ok race for state #30. Phil joined us for this race. He didn't have a great race either.

Small but nice medal.
They gave us great back packs at the Expo. Very cool!
