We celebrated Eric's birthday at the Twins vs Boston Game. I upgraded our seats and we ended up sitting in front of the newly called up starting pitcher, Preston Ohl. There were three rows of family members behind us. They were very loud, cheering him on. But once he got pulled in the third inning they were quiet. But we got on TV a couple times.  Who know this would be the last time we would see most of the starting line up...

After the game I gave Eric his birthday presents. I got him a Doctor Who Build-a-bear. 

And a late birthday present for Eric was the Twins destroying the team and trade half the team away.  And below is my reaction to it. :(

Our annual Birthday Bash for July birthdays was on Sunday. We met at Tommy's Malt Shop for lunch. Afterwards we went to our newly renovated SandVenture Aquatic Park. It is has a sand beach, great sand-bottom pool, 300-foot waterslide, two 12-foot drop slides, and a pirate ship jumping platform. There was a little incident that required us to get out of the pool but after an hour they let us back in. Afterwards we stopped at our house for ice cream cake and cupcakes. It was a fun day.

 

We made our biennial trek to Milwaukee for the Race to Cure Sarcoma 5K.  Team Chasing the Ice Cream Truck for Dylan had a pretty good turnout. Alec took 2nd overall.  After the race we went to Kopp's for burgers and ice cream.  We played around of mini golf at the last place I saw Dylan alive. We capped off the night with a bonfire at Melissa's new house.  It was a good weekend. 

 

 They ran out of fucking water!  It is 85 degrees at 9am and they don't have water at the water stop! What a disaster. I survived but I was angry. Reba is modeling the beautiful medal.
