Finn and Reba are adorable as usually.  I asked ChatGPT to make Reba a Pope so that was fun.  Finn fell asleep on my keyboard while I was working.  Reba was naughty and jumped into the cat food cupboard. 

We had 9 trombones at the chilly Lake Harriet concert. The three of us played trombone 2. 

After the Bayshore Half Marathon we went out to the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Such amazing views:

State #36 is done!   We ran Bayshore Half Marathon on Saturday in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. The morning was very early. We were assigned the 5:30 bus which meant we were at the start area about 2 hours before our start. It was a very chilly morning. We invested in some warmer clothes and blankets for our 2 hour wait. 

It we finally go time. I knew the first mile was going to be rough. It is a mile up a 200 ft hill. I really didn't run much as I didn't want to blow out my legs before mile 1 was done. 

After the 2 miles we finally got to the shore of Lake Michigan. It was about 10 miles of these views:

The race was slower than I would like but my training hasn't been the best.  I finished about the same time as Eugene so I guess I'm consistent.
