It was such a busy month!  We went to Rapid City for Memorial Day Weekend for Olivia's graduation. Eric, DJ and I hiked up to Black Elk Point.

We got home from that road trip and two days later flew out to Vegas for William's Graduation. It was a hot night on the football field.

As always there are amazing Nevada sunsets.

We got home from Vegas, worked two days and flew out to Indianapolis for the Hatfield McCoy Half Marathon.

 

We went to the latest Loons game with Bryce and Abbie. Brynne stayed with DJ, Anna and Caio at our house. She is so cute!

 

We ran the Maple Grove 10K this morning as a "training run" for our next half marathon in June. My friend Meghan joined us today. The weather was amazing, the course was hilly but nice and my time was great! This was the best 10K I have ran in over 5 years!  I felt strong the whole time and I'm hopefully this continues for the rest of my training. 

 

 It was an amazing night for Northern Lights. I knew there was a high potential to see them and had seen several posts on Facebook from Europe of what was coming.  I was grateful that they were early in the night so I could see them.  Eric and I drove down to rural Marystown (just south of our house) and the views were great. Seeing the Northern Lights has been on my bucket list and I have always wanted to see them. To be fair, I saw a glimpse of them when we flew over to London in 2005. I had finally fell asleep and Eric woke me up to see them. At the time I was mad but I really wish I would have looked at them then. Well almost 20 years later I finally saw them and it was amazing.
