Turkey Trot 5K. It was chilly, windy and icy. Reba isn’t impressed with the medal.

 

The weather was absolutely perfect, the crowd was huge, and—best of all—I wasn’t swept off the course!

Around mile 9, I stopped to help an older woman who fell right in front of me and hit her head. She was bleeding badly and broke her glasses…scary moment.

Feet are surprisingly sore (that never happens!), but hey — 13.1 miles in the books! #HalfMarathon #State38 #IRunForMedals
