It was a slow one (I didn’t really train). I met some new friends during mile 2 and ran the rest of the way together. It was awesome! And my medal has an accordion on it!

Friday night we had the opportunity to babysit Blake for the evening. I have to say we tuckered him out but he knocked us out too. I went home early from work and met Danielle and Bradley at my house. I had to watch him by myself for 2 hours before Eric got home. I'm not great with kids his age but I did pretty good. We played with his train set, we watched Mickey Mouse's Clubhouse and ate Cheez-its. He is a very good sharer. One for me, one for him. And then when the bowl got down to the bottom he would take a bite and hand the other half to me. LOL!
I made pizza for dinner. Apparently that didn't go over too well.....
When Eric got home we got ready for the Aquatic center at the Community Center. At first he wasn't sure about it. He really didn't like it. But then we took him down the slide and he was sold. We were there for almost 2 hours. We shot basketballs, played with the water cannons, threw a ball around and went down the slide...a lot. It was a lot fun. We had no problem putting him to bed. And shortly after we crashed in bed too...at 9:30pm on a Friday night. LOL!
The next morning we meet Terry and Dawn (Bradley's parents), Mom and Betty Jane at Perkins in Bloomington. We had a great breakfast. Blake was having fun with a lemon.
After breakfast we went to IKEA. I wanted a new book shelf. We killed a lot of time there. I found my bookcase I wanted in the "As Is" section for $22 less and it was already put together. A double win!!! I'm super happy.
We went to the MOA for a few rides before heading home for the night.
It was a great Leap Day
