Texas State Capitol

Saturday, September 17, 2016

After our early morning flight, Nancy, Greg and Denise picked us up at the airport. We freshened up at Nancy’s house and went out on the town. We had dinner at Toasty’s Tacos. We all had the chicken fajita taco!  We also had some chips and salsa and queso. It was really good.

Next stop was the Texas State Capitol. What an interesting place! I really enjoyed all the history of the place. There were stars everywhere!

For dinner we at Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, TX, just outside of Austin. We meet Gregory and Emma there. Gregory is Greg’s son and Emma is his girlfriend. It was a neat place and the food was good, except for the beans. I didn’t like them. Emma was very sweet. It was a good first day.
