Eric had a soccer game in Eagan last night so I tagged along to get in a hill workout. Eagan has amazing hills...or horrible hills...depending on how you look at it. I was planning on running some but when I saw what the trails were really like at the Patrick Eagan Park, I changed my mind. I'm not a trail runner.  It was a hard hike. It was very warm and humid, a storm was brewing too. There was downed trees in the a few spots that I had to work around. I did about 2.5 miles in the park and then did a loop around back to the soccer fields. It started to rain pretty good on my way back to the car.  I even saw a fox so that was cool.  I got back to the car just in time to miss the downpour. Boy did it downpour!  Eric was caught in that. I was safely in the car. Haha! After that I went for a loop around the neighborhood to get in 6.35 miles.

 

Its a Girl! 

Abbie's baby shower was Saturday at McGowan's farm outside of Mankato. Three years ago we were at her wedding in this sheep barn and now it is her baby shower. We played some games, ate some breakfast and found out she is having a girl! 

 We had a fun weekend in Milwaukee. We ran the Sarcoma Race for Dylan (Chasing the Ice Cream Truck for Dylan). The race wasn't bad, we had rain to start but it cleared out before we actually started the race. I really didn't run until the last mile. It was ok considering. After the race we went to Culver's for ice cream. 

Brewers Game

We took Blake to his first Brewer's game. He had fun but got bored towards the end. We saw quite a few home runs and Bernie sliding down his slide.

After the Brewer game we went to Melissa's for s'mores and pies over the bonfire. It was fun.  

The next day Eric and I went to Lakefront to get some views.

On the way home we stopped in Madison to see my friend Jenny and her family. I-94 was terrible so we took the long way back home through Independence. We stopped at the drive in for an ice cream cone and met Mike and Linda. 

Fun Weekend!

 We had the opportunity to go on the field to watch Twins batting practice. We didn't see the big stars but we saw Michael A Taylor, Solano, Polanco and picture Ober.  Polanco signed Alice's jersey!
